Strong AgroFarm 2013 in Moscow

The International Exhibition for Animal Husbandry and Breeding, AgroFarm 2013, took place from 5 to 7 February 2013 at the VVC exhibition grounds (All-Russian Exhibition Centre) in Moscow. As expected, it was the top forum for the sector in Russia at the beginning of the year. According to an initial analysis by the organizers DLG International GmbH (Frankfurt am Main), a subsidiary of DLG (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft – German Agricultural Society), and IEC of AREC (Moscow), increases were noted in exhibitor numbers, exhibition area and visitor figures. The number of exhibitors grew by around 20 percent to 333 companies by comparison with the preceding event.   [more...]


Future-oriented outlook for Russia’s animal husbandry - AgroFarm 2013 with double-digit growth

(DLG International) AgroFarm, the international exhibition for animal husbandry and animal breeding is being held in Moscow at the All-Russian Exhibition Centre (VVC), Hall 75, from 5 to 7 February 2013. The event, organized jointly by DLG International and IEC of AREC, has developed in recent years to become the most important top forum for animal farmers and the largest demonstration platform for modern genetic resources and animal production methods in Russia. Winners of AgroFarm 2013 Awards

Every year, in the run-up to the AgroFarm international exhibition for animal husbandry and animal breeding, exhibitors compete to win three types of awards for the best product, best service and best scientific development. This year, 35 applications were submitted, of which 13 winners were selected by an expert panel. Evaluation and nomination of the winners was done by independent experts with an impressive track record in the animal farming. The Best Product Award was given to 9 products developed for pig, poultry, cattle and fur farming. Most of them are high-tech products that are very relevant to the Russian market.  [ more... ]

AgroFarm will feature a French pavilion for the first time

The number of French exhibitors at the AgroFarm has increased gradually over the recent years. For the first time at the AgroFarm 2013, French companies have the opportunity to present their products on a Joint Country Pavilion. With 10 exhibitors at the joint pavilion and 8 companies participating in AgroFarm individually a record participation of French companies can be reported.

The pavilion is organized by ADEPTA, the French Association for the International Development of Exchange of Food and Agricultural Products and Techniques.

Made in Germany" is strongly represented at AgroFarm 2013

With 45 companies, Germany is the country with the largest number of participants at the AgroFarm 2013. Across the world the attribute “Made in Germany” stands for high quality products which meet the highest standards. Under this motto, the German pavilion is being organized at the AgroFarm 2013.

The Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection supports the  organization of the joint pavilion, what enables German companies to participate in the exhibition at special rates.

IFWexpo Heidelberg was assigned with the organization of the German pavilion.

Danish Pavilion for the second time in a row at AgroFarm

Denmark with its 14 exhibitors makes up the third largest country representation at the AgroFarm.  Also in 2013, Danish companies have the opportunity to present their products in an official national pavilion. The Danish Agriculture & Food Council is the organizer of the Danish pavilion.

From 7 through to 9 February the All-Russian Exhibition Centre in Moscow hosted the International Exhibition for Animal Husbandry and Breeding,
 AgroFarm  2012. 278 companies from 24 countries presented an extensive range of innovative technologies and procedures for animal keeping and feeding. Animal health issues and modern genetics for beef, pig, poultry, goat and sheep-keeping also featured strongly. The number of exhibitors was up by 20 per cent over last year’s event. And at 12,270 m2, the exhibition floor space was 20 per cent larger this time round. [more...]
